So a friend of mine showed me a new web browser called RockMelt. Basically, it's taking the Chrome browser and giving it a Facebook facelift. You'll notice that your notifications are at the top left, you can make posts using a button next to the back button, and there is a share button on the right. Your chat contacts are in one column, while the other column is for apps and RSS notifications. You can import your bookmarks from Chrome, and add a custom theme. Overall, it's a lot more functional than Chrome.

I like the simplicity of Chrome.

I tried using RockMelt. I didn't enjoy that you have to have a Facebook account to use it.

No you don't. It still works as a browser.

Yeah, maybe to use the Twitter features, and Facebook features, and the other features, which doesn't really matter all that much. Otherwise it works without one.

If you WANT to use the other features, get a Facebook and don't complain that they made you use one. Otherwise use the default browsing feature it has.

This is more of a Chrome extension.
What they've done is make a Chrome installer that has an extension no one really likes pre-installed.

Stick with Chrome.
Google has the world's best programmers.

I'll stick with what I personally decide, thank you very much.
