I apologize if there is already a thread like this.

Recently my headphones broke; I can't hear the left side audio and I had it for almost 2 and a half years. Well, it started messing up after 4 - 7 months and I had to tweak it a bit so i can hear the left side audio.

The product is: jvc stereo headphones ha-rx300

Is there any good headphones that will last me more than 3 years and is under $30 - $40?

Again, I apologize if there is another thread like this...

You get what you pay for. Anything $30 or under will have to be shit canned in about 2 years, if you're lucky. I'd suggest getting Dre Beats. They are expensive ($100+) but they will last a long time if you treat them right.

>>2 I know that's the headphones, but I don't want to buy it anymore..

>>3 Too expensive!! XDD But I'll look into it. Thanks!

the only good headphones are the expensive ones. but sometimes they dont even work! <<3 those headphones seem the best

>>5 & >>6 Well, I guess I'll buy the same one. Maybe the reason why it was messing up was because I was treating it wrong. XD

>>7 that tends to be the case. The only reason my headphones ever break is because the wiring gets jacked up n ends up not even transmitting the sound, but that only happens because I just dont give enough fucks about them

OP, you should get one of these. It's the Sony Wireless Headset.

It's made for the PS3, but it can also be used for the PC. It's wireless and extremely easy to use. You can get it for around $80 - $100.

If this option doesn't interest you, then whatever headset you get, get a wireless one. They tend to be more durable due to the fact that the risk of the wires getting screwed over is eliminated by the wireless feature. It's also very convenient.

The two main reasons I can think of for not getting this is the price and if you're planning to use the headset to listen to music, but why the hell would you need a headset to listen to music, lol?

I'm looking for some new ones too. Suggestion: Don't get Skullcandy. They've only lasted me 4 months and they're already shit.

>>9 I don't need a headset XD.. Just some good headphones to listen to music.

>>10 Thank god!! I was thinking of getting a Skullcandy, but now I'm reconsidering it! *0*

>>11 Skullcandy are intensely bass heavy. I wouldn't recommend them.

>>14 I have a pair of these as well, gonna put my vote on the Portapros. Alternatively, I also have a pair of Panasonic RP-HTX7, which are also very good while being under $40.

I use ones called iFrogz, they are ear bud for $10 tht come in red, black, blue, white, green, and pink. They supply AWESOME loud surround-like sound.

If it's just for listening to music, I'd suggest going to Walmart and finding a cheap $5-10 pair that is designed to last three to six months. Because frankly, the $25 neodymium ones will probably last about that long. /pessimism

I don't know the running price of this brand, but Skull Candy has done me some good. Mac headphones have not. My skull candy headphones broke because I pulled one of the earpieces off, but they've lasted the longest out of all of the brands I've had. I went through 3 pairs of Mac headphones before I stupidly killed my skull candy ones.
