does anyone know how to fix this? (12)

i recently got a droid 4 and after a while i woke up one morning and found that it was all messed up and now it says stuff that goes like 'the device is locked status code 0 battery low connect to*word i cant remember*' and stuff like that. do you know what's wrong?

Still, most likely cause of an error 0 is that you were fucking around with the system files while you were low on battery. Have a simple step-by-step of what happened:

>Start changing files which were critical for your phone to run
>USB disconnected mid-way through AND/OR battery ran out of charge
>Modifications were not finished, corrupted files everywhere
>LOL, ENJOY YOUR BRICK

Best bet: Go back to the store with proof of purchase, say that the battery won't charge (should be confirmed by a question-mark on the battery indicator), don't mention about what a fuckwit you were, hopefully get replacement phone

They probably could Google a backup file download, so it restores it to factory settings.

Either go to the manufacturer and ask for it to be restored, or try pulling out the battery, leave it out for 5 seconds, and replacing it. You might need the memory wiped because you might have downloaded something that had a virus.

True, but that is assuming that the phone is recognized as a device by the computer any more. If he fucked it up bad enough it won't even be detected by the computer, and then the only thing he can do is return it.
