i do not think this video is fake,and i think that he over-reacted here. sure he could have just confiscated her computer and grounded her for a longer period of time, because there is no doubt she deserved it, but to actually SHOOT THE GOD DAMN LAPTOP AND THEN MAKE HER PAY FOR THE SHIT HE VOLUNTARILY BROKE through the replacement of the software and computer itself is a bit extreme.

In my opinion, the girl got what she deserved. The father explains all that she had to do around their house, which wasn't all that much. And for her to go on such a rant about her parents being lazy, when they both most likely have jobs, and paid for the laptop and the software they installed on it (after she asked them to do it, and for her to make that rant after he did all that for her)

If you watch the WHOLE video, not this one which is cut slightly, you can see how much of a brat she was being on Facebook. So this was entirely deserved.

Watched the original video, that included the girl's entire post. It was horribly disrespectful, and exemplary of spoiled brat teenage girls everywhere. It even goes on to say "I'd hate to see the day when you're too old to wipe your own shit, because I won't be there for you." Simply disgusting, considering the amount of time and effort it takes for parents to raise children.

The guy doesn't sound like he's neglectful either. In fact, the list of chores the girl rattled off wasn't even that large. I'm sure I'm not the only one that has more chores than those, yet doesn't complain too hard. It's simply inexcusable, especially considering she absolutely refuses to get a job!

I'm on the dad's side. At the very least, it's one more immature brat off of the internet. It'll instill some humility in her until she gets a new computer. I'm normally against a punishment as archaic is banning someone from the computer - a device that is used almost universally with everything nowadays (writing essays for school, research, browsing the web for information like the news, etc) - but in this case, I feel it's justified. In fact, I feel bad for the father, being disgraced in such a way by his own daughter. It's horrid.
