I used Rainmeter, the illustro and the enigma skins to make the layout. It shows one News Feed, two Dollars Feeds, and a Facebook Feed. It's got a calendar that goes up to 31 days (though for some reason it's not quite working) as well as up to the minute weather information. Finally, I can adjust volume, launch programs and view system info.
Also, my taskbar uses BatteryBar to show laptop battery life.

I use the Enigma Rainmeter skin too. Really love the resource monitor that keeps track of my available space and processing power - But it's a little inaccurate.
Also, the whole download/upload bar thing is almost completely inaccurate. I had it registering 6/7kb/s download when I had no internet.

Thanks for the lead, MKOLLER! Recreated it based on your picture and switched out the calendar and weather skins for ones that were more functional. Works great!

Couldn't figure out how to work the calander, changed my RSS feeds to Yahoo news, BBS Main, BBS Random and changed the weather reports to Sydney, Australia, Japan, Philippines and England.
