Alright so, anyone watch Code Geass? Or even Gundam for that matter. I was thinking if it is possible for us to make a machine like the Knightmare frame from Code Geass, or if you only understand by Gundam, A muuuuuuch smaller type of Gundam suit. If so, Has anyone attempted? Who? Where can I see it?

People have attempted it and mechs do exist but nothing to the scale of a gundam .. the idea of a mobile suit is currently unnecessary in the modern era, they are too big and to easy to hit and knock down with there huge legs making them a liability.. but smaller machines have been made like this little robot by the a us defense research division or contractor of them which carries supplies to soldiers and can walk on its own on four legs up hills and most types of terrain .. but a mobile suit is too big and bulky, maybe when we start colinysing space then we may use them but untill then I doubt you will see a mobile suit or knighmare frame type unit on the front line.

I bet everyone will invide another when news comes out that one is being created, as a "way to stop war from happening".
as far as i can tell, code geass knightmares are an impossiblilty for the time being, would need better power supplies as well as advancing more in robotics

You see how in gundam and code geass that the mobile suit are apart of the military. I've told myself I would never join unless only if they start making them you think thats being an ass.

You'll never join then. By the time they make them, you'll be long since DEAD.

bipedal motion is a huge focus of robotics today, and, what with the progress that has been made already, that sort of suit is most definitely possible.
the two biggest hurdles in that kind of tech are making robots that are capable of balancing, walking, running, and jumping with two legs and not falling over; and making robots that can synchronise with a human's motions, assisting them without ripping his limbs off. both of these have already been achieved, and the only thing left to do is to perfect them and put them into widespread use. Lockheed Martin's HULC, an exoskeleton designed to help with heavy loads, is one example of an already finished product.
