Anybody else involved with First Robotics? I am proudly entering my third year of competition under team #3255 The Super N.U.R.Ds! If so what do you think of the 2012 game?

FRC was the best part of my senior year... I was never into competitive sports, but competitive robot designing and building? [i]That[/i] I could do!
I'm still bummed that my team's (2035, Robo-Rockin Bots) rookie year was my senior year, since the game has had to take a back seat to college since I left, but it was awesome for the year I was on the team and the three years after that I was a mentor.

I remember going to an FRC competition when I was a bit younger, it was pretty fun and I got front row seats but a bunch of team members were annoying me with deafening shouts of confidence, can't blame them though, robots are cool.

I'm in the robotics club of my school and we participate in that and we even hosted one in our gym, Heritage High School Brentwood, CA. I didn't get to compete last year cause the freshman/sofmor team was too small to do anything. Plus the Junior/senior team took the sofmors.

I think my old high school was pretty well known amongst the the first robotics community, mostly for being one of the stronger performers in the country, though I didn't join it. It's Team 188, btw.
