This is not a scam. I repeat, this is NOT a scam. I understand if you're a bit skeptical, as there's a lot of shady "rewards" sites on the net you should be wary of, but this is not one of those sites,
and I'm going to post a few pictures later on so that I can prove it.Anyways, what is Swagbucks? Time to copy and paste.
"A search engine reward site that allows you to “earn” Swagbucks for completing your normal everyday on-line searching, which can be collected and redeemed for gift-cards to some of your favorite places, like Amazon."
You can also win other prizes using the site, but I personally only use it for the Amazon Gift Cards.
Basically, this is how it works:
You use their search engine, and occasionally, you will be awarded with points, or "swag bucks"(SBs) which you can redeem for prizes. In my case, I use them for Amazon Gift Cards.
Oh, and I don't use their search engine over Google, because to be completely honest, their search results are a bit lacking. It's pretty much only useful for earning SBs.
There are also other ways you could earn SBs, such as completing surveys, doing tasks, special offers (these you should be wary of, as while they do credit you with SBs, they usually end up filling your e-mail with tons of spam. Which is why I use a throwaway e-mail for these things. And a fake name. And address. And phone number. But yeah, Swagbucks has no control over these guys, so be careful), the daily poll, watching videos, etc.
While everything on the site is free, I'm going to be straight up and say, you might have to work a bit. But just be consistent, and you'll be winning prizes in no time.
Anyways, you should give it a try. At least until you earn your first Amazon Gift Card. If you didn't like it, then that's alright, at least you tried it out. Cool? Cool.
