If you've ever sen gundam00 then you know the power source for mobiles suits are gn drives.people think that gn drives are pure fiction but in reality they are possible.A true drive like the gundams is currently impossible but a tau drive is actually possible. With the rightengineers and time, the tau drive can be created.Tell me what you think?

this is a true drive

I thought i was the only crazy one that believed that a tau was possible...WE CAN BRING GUNDAM TO THE REAL WORLD...on a smaller scale for the time being

Physics: the reason why we can't build giant robots

its not the physics its just impractical and costly

but can you post a higher res pic of the drive (the second pic)? i cant read the words on it

Trust me, its physics.

well to some degree ...but we COULD build essentially a giant tank with a torso mounted on it, it would just have to be almost exponentially large to be able to support itself

we just need our chemists to develop some INSANE new alloys ...

We have the materials on standby, we just need to convert the bonds of electricty into gn particles. The alloy to make one is simple.Simple things like titanium or iron can be used for mass production of said technology

just click on the pic to see an enlarged version

seems enteresting

11 Name: Yasuo : 2011-11-05 22:43 ID:VkmnSjXc [Del]

as a Mechanical Engineer i can say that this is somewhat possible but highly unlikely to happen. The cost would be too great and even if built the physics behind equiping this to a giant robot is inprobable....
now as a gundam fan i say FUCK THAT SHIT IM GONNA MAKE ONE FOR MY ENGINEERing PROJECT!!!

GN drives aren't only meant for mobile suits but can used for power and other machines like planes.
