Hello all. I have a simple question, though let me tell you what happened. A day ago i was skimming through the site and found a thread about computer desktops. I then found some of the screenshots people took of theirs and their desktops were really cool, like one had The current time, a dollars logo in the background, and It looked as though it had been linked with the dollars-bbs. Long request short, If anyone can find out how to do something like this or actually do it, please respond.

The customisation you saw was most likely through Rainmeter. Read through that picture and you should be able to get your desktop looking awesome in no time.

Also, those instructions for Rainmeter aren't the most current. Nowadays, you just put the skins into a folder in your Documents folder that will be created during the installation. But Rainmeter comes with instructions, so you should be fine.
