I noticed there was only one thread on Firearms, and it wasn't exclusive to just Firearms so I decided to make this one.

I'm going to go ahead and say I wasn't sure whether to post in the Technology and Sports boards, as I primarily wanted it to just be a Firearms thread, so I chose this one and decided to make it a "Shooting Sports" thread as well.

To me and many others, Firearms are a lot more than something to be used for Sport, they are to be used for hunting, self, and home defense.

I'd like the thread to be applicable to just about anything related to Firearms.

I'll start by sharing that I recently bought a Glock 19 Generation 3 as my first purchased handgun, so far I've slightly modified it with an extended precision slide lock, OEM extended magazine catch, and OEM extended slide stop lever also had some Night Sights installed, I've yet to fire it after installing these so I'll be going to the range in a few days to run some more rounds through her.

I shot a Glock once, I preferred the M&P9.
My favorite is the West German P226, although I'd like to try out the P229.
