Science hasn't made the link to whether animal milk has a direct effect on height itself or not. It's better to say that when growing kids drink milk, their bones grow stonger. If their bones aren't as strong then they won't have the capability to lengthen.
Practicing back stretches, hanging on bars and good posture will make you a bit taller, if you do it a lot.
Protein rich foods that have little to no saturated / solid fat will build your muscles, and you'll be taller than if you eat lots of carbs (white rice and white grains etc.) Lean meats are good for you. Nuts and seeds are considered healthy proteins too.
