Any of you box? Or play around with it for fun? Perhaps even use it for self defense? I'm interested to know about how people use boxing in their lives.

I used to box back in middle and high school, now I mostly use it to stay in shape. I have only ever been in one fight, outside of boxing matches of course, in my entire life and boxing really helped me to not get my ass beat.

I box, I've been doing it for maybe have a year by now. Started out just for me to get in shape and learn to control my anger. So far I've been in 3 small competitions and won 2 of them. I love boxing and if I can keep my head in it I plan to make a career out of it, but I'm a long way from doing that right now!

I practice several martial arts and boxing is definitely my favourite. The best one for conditioning too.

I love kickboxing, I took a class for it and didn't appreciate it until later, I love sparring and sandbags too I really need to work out again.

I spar with my 14 year old nephew who has been using boxing as a way to cope with his explosive anger/violence. He's really nice and goes super easy on me haha but he very frequently knocks me on my behind. I have been wanting to take other sorts of martial arts classes though!

Honestly i prefer Krav Maga, it's more of a fun to practice and quite effective!

As a fellow fighter, boxing/kickboxing/MMA has helped me to relieve stress, be competitive, and lose weight. Sparring is so much fun, as I apply what I've learned. Heck, I'm the president of my University's MMA club!
