Sport Board Games

This thread is for all you guys who play any board games that are sports,

Please tell use what you play how long you have been playing and if you have been in any tournaments,

also add any helpful tips or guides for newcomers :D

I am going to get the ball rolling -

I am still learning stuff about Go like how to answer life an death problems knowing where to go first in some cases and then following through, I got a fairly nice new goban last years and I also got some nice proper stones had to get them separately, and in my own opinion I think Go is a load more deeper than chess as there are only so many moves you can make in chess like you can win in like only a few turns if you know where to move your pieces,
