I've been interested in ice skating and figure skating for years now! I love all sports and mainly do Cross Country. I'm a little young in age (13-16) Not to be specific and fear it could be a little late to try figure skating, any tips?

I never want be figure skating but i think it is really cool competition tho.

1. Learn to ice skate first.
2. Maintain/improve flexibility and overall cardiovascular + muscular endurance.
3. Contact the appropriate coaches to get an idea of what training you will have to undergo
4. Acknowledge that it might be late for competitive skating
