walking is good for you and supporting other's to walk is my goal right now (nothing personal is shared!)
i downloaded an app that i can trust that keep's my step count for the day called
Pedometer & Weight Loss Coachthis is awesome because it has group's for people wanting to join and other than the username there are no personal info shared, people cant click each other to get social it's just for walking or running!
i made a group for the Dollars if anyone is interested? but you must have GPS enabled on your phone or tablet
i have committed to walking 3k steps daily/weekly
and 20k steps for 1 day that's a lot of walking :)
i found it to be counting steps too much so i had to play with the settings and i used Low sensitivity but it may be different for you!
it has in the setting's Automatic Start/Stop set that when you wake up and when you sleep so it will activate at your active times for the day

How to join the walking group
- Download App : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cc.pacer.androidapp
- go to the bottom of app see groups
- in groups there are pages see the dot's and swipe until you see join group
- it will ask for the id for the group you want to join
- Use the code D5534359 to Join the dollar's walking group
