im a distance runner too but lately because of the weather we or doing indoor track now not cross country and im stuck doing long distance sprints. I really miss cross country i hate sprinting; but you gotta do what you gotta do. btw my 3rd race is the 21st and im doing 600 and 1000 sprints

I used to be a runner until i got problems with one of the organs right below my left rib cage...now, whenever i run or jump around, that organ starts to get into an emense amount of pain and i can't enjoy running or sports like i used to ^^(i think it's called a gallbladder)

I used to also do long distance in my school's track team. Personally I like sprinting more because I'm not very good at keeping my pace during a long race

I want to start running. Does anyone have any tips? I also want to look into getting a treadmill because a major thing that turns me off is I"m self-conscious of others watching me.

I'm a short distance runner. Only running 100 metres sprint and 400 metres in relay run :)
