Just wanna know if anyone likes rock climbing? And does anyone consider Rock Climbing a sport? :3
Rock climbing is pretty cool. I myself would probably not consider it a sport though. I have only done it a couple of times, and both times have been indoors.
I used to climb on the swing set when i was in elementary school, although i got yelled at (and sometimes hit with people on swings), i still did it. i once climbed a rock wall for a grade in gym class, but i fell when i got to the top ^^ oops there went my A+
I love indoor rock climbing. I went to this place called Mesa Rim and it is the largest indoor rock climbing place in Southern California. The walls are about 60 ft. high with their largest trail being about 90 ft.
Yes! I just started rock climbing about 9 months ago, and I love it! Wikipedia defines sports all forms of usually competitive physical activity which, through casual or organised participation, aim to use, maintain or improve physical ability and skills while providing entertainment to participants, and in some cases, spectators. This most certainly makes rock climbing a sport. I am on a competitive rock climbing team. I do workouts every day. I love everything about it. Actually, I'm going to go on my first outdoor rock climbing trip in a couple of days. I'm so excited!
Now that I'm in college, I wanted to find a way to avoid being hit by the "freshman 15". I went to one rock climbing session and I have fallen in love! I also love how it kind of makes you use your imagination while climbing to find the best path. I've seen numerous people go through the same path way, but use completely different techniques. Plus, at my college, one of the highest level paths is called "Harambe's Revenge" lol.
