So a random thought occurred to me today that made me a bit curious, i think it would be cool if we all named our favorite sports, why they're our favorite and where we are from
My Favorite to watch is American Football due the the fast pace and complexity of the sport. My Favorite to play, however, is baseball. i don't know why, but i just simply enjoy it more than other sports.

Hell, I'll humor this.
My favorite sports are; Boxing because of the technical aspect of the fights, I've been boxing for about 3 and a half years now.. Tennis because its fun, I've been playing for about 8 years. MMA, because I love learning different martial arts and combining them to find my own style, I've been in an MMA school for about 2 months now.

My favourites to play are horseback riding, because it's lots of fun to work with the horses; and soccer, because it keeps your attention. My favourite sport to watch is hockey, because I've grown up with it and it's fast-paced.

My favourite to watch..ah, I'd never decide between football/soccer and cricket. For the former, I think it's just a beautiful team sport, and the way an amazon player moves on the field mesmerises me! And as for cricket, I love how it's as much of a mental game as it is a physical game! To me, it's the ultimate test!
Now, to play, however, it'd be netball. As a girl, both of the former sports can e taxing on the body, but netball is a non-contact, fast-paced game, and I've grown up playing it ^^

(last game before Olympics since it's where they held the archery at the Olympics). It is amazing live and even more amazing when you get to walk on the pitch up to the players, talk to them and get an autograph. I don't normally enjoy watching sports, because I'd rather be up and playing along rather than sitting down. That's a big problem for me. But I am always able to sit down for any soccer game. I have played soccer my entire life. I am currently on an indoor team, eagerly awaiting another year of high school outdoor!
Hm... why is soccer my favorite? Good question. I guess I can't really name my reasoning... it's more of a feeling, I suppose. Nothing is better than sitting around your team before a game in the grass, listening to Coach list off players to start, and hearing your name. Whenever my foot comes within an inch of a soccer ball, I get very antsy and ridiculously energetic. Soccer is it for me. It's all I need.

I love tennis because you don't have to rely on a team, usually only a partner or yourself. Also, it requires more analyzing your opponent's moves and strategizing on the spot instead of making a strategy ahead of time and then calling a time out to make a new strategy. Plus the whole one-on-one element makes it more interesting. I'm from the USA btw.

My favourite sport is Football to play and watch. I support Arsenal from the BPL. I like football alot since it can vary in pace sometimes a team can counter fast or do a nice slow build up play which leads to a goal which is why I think makes it very exciting.
However another sport I am currently trying to get into is Basketball the fast pace of the game I love however I'm still learning the basic when I play I know most of the definitions now and I would like to follow the NBA more but its quite challenging to do so when u live in England as the main sports are Football and Cricket lol ;)

I love to watch baseball. The game can change at the blink of an eye. It's suspenseful, too.

My favourite sports is basically Powerlifting. It is a simple sport that basically focus on 3 main lifts which is Squats , Benchpress and Deadlift. 3 Attempts each of lifts and lift the heaviest u can for 1 rep. :) The score are based on all three main lifts together which is the wilks points.

Ice hockey is my favorite sport by a mile. I grew up in northern Wisconsin pretty much from 2 years old to right after I graduated from junior high, played a ton of pick-up pond hockey on Lake Superior when it would freeze over in the winter. I grew up listening to the Blackhawks on radio.

My favourite sport to play has to be trampoline dodge ball, I know it sounds kinda dumb, but it's really fun once you've tried it. I suppose I would've put regular dodge ball here, but most schools in texas have the activity banned so there are facilities around my town that have this instead.

I've played and had tennis and soccer lessons before, I would say both are fun in their own way ^^ I also really like swimming because it's really refreshing when you get to slide your arms into the water and kick your legs. Plus, it's the only real sport I can really do best, I do a lot of leisure swim. I recently got myself into volleyball (because of haikyuu lol), but I've noticed I been craving to play volleyball and I've already studied several volleyball websites in how the game works and how to play and practice. Plus, volleyball is really exciting to see- in order to keep the game play, the ball must no touch the floor, and it's super intense.
Thus, I deem that my favorites have to be swimming and volleyball.

I have to say, I love practicing Kendo. that would have to be my favorite official sport. But I do like other things, such as running, biking, and backpacking. They may not be full fledged sports, but to me they're enough to keep me in shape and get me out into the world.

I'm from germany and I love basketball, judo, longboarding, climbing and joggin. Basketball is just a cool teamplay sport when you know the right people and judo can be used in your everyday life when you need to defend urself, but you have to take the training seriously. Many guys and girls who do judo are quite cool people and not some arrogant bitches/assholes so that quite a bonus. Most of the time I use a longboard to get from point A to B since I don't have the money for a car and have to use public transit all the time. I prefer to go climbing outside since i love nature but indoors is okey too. The same goes for jogging. I just like doing things outdoor and jogging is nice to blow off some steam.
