yes. childhood best friend that i fell in love with over the internet after texting (and calling occasionally) practically every day with each other for years. i confessed and while she didnt feel the same we remained friends.
also one of my other childhood best friends, who im still friends with to this day, she just unfortunately moved away to a different state so we cant see each other anymore. same thing happened, i confessed and she didnt feel the same, but our friendship still went strong.
