There's no leader, the only leader is ourselves to lead yet again, ourselves. The community chooses their leader, to lead on certain subject. Like certain Missions for example, that one member might not be a leader in another mission or even different thing related to the site.
If it seemed dead, every post has a timestamp. Just look out for that.
Regarding the anime, you could just google search them out.
