but for everyone else, who already uses these mind altering substances, Hello! My name is Water, The Toxic Savior. I've been a member here for about 5-6 years now. Off and on, anyway. I'm here to talk with you about the usage of psycho-effective drugs and their implications, for those who are under the influence of these psycho enhancers, I would like for this thread to be a place for us druggies, junkies and stoners to talk about and discuss the kinds of experiences or share the general topic of these mind altering psychoactive remedies.

A Psychonaut is a person who explores activities by which altered states of consciousness are induced and utilized for spiritual purposes or the exploration of the human condition, including shamanism, lamas of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, sensory deprivation, and both archaic and modern users of entheogenic substances, in order to gain deeper insights into the mind and spirituality.

But what I consider a psychonaut is someone who takes interest in science, religions, history, psychology, philosophy and drugs (not only psychedelics).

I'm a heavy smoker, and I regularly use other substances like ecstasy, acid, xanax, mushrooms and various pills that give me the kind of mental distortion that allows me to meditate, or experience life in a new light. There are a lot of reasons that typical drug users choose to ingest these chemicals. Be it, a mental affliction like PTSD, or for spiritual purposes. Sometimes, there are medical applications as well as for the age old reason " I just like to get high sometimes." I personally use these substances as a sedative to help me with over-stimulation.

I'd like for others to share their experiences here, and to particiate with me in a very open discussion about drugs and their many applications as well as whatever personal opinion of these substances that you would subscribe to as an individual.

That's the most vanilla shit I've ever heard. Keep the good content rolling through, and prove to your peers why everyone else is probably more apt than you.

The cult mentality of this community is suffocating to be around. It puts blinders on its members while simultaneously convincing them their view of the world is wider than anyone else's.
