Well. I have mixed feelings about this year.
It was hell because I moved to a new country (long story) and faced a breakup with the love of my life (you could say that. I'm still not over him). I got into IB without any idea of how stressful and exhausting it would be, and I'm still trying to survive.
On the other hand, my friends have been there in the distance, and I've even established a relationship with one of them (kinda complicated). I've met a lot of people too, have made new friends and gotten into debate and MUN, which I love.
I've become a more autonomous version of myself but lost my identity in the whole process, which is tied to my true home.
I've become a cheater (in some kind of way, I hate it), but also I'm recovering little by little my ability to love.
Plus, I may have depression. Again.
So, I was wondering how was this year for you!

Welp, lets see...
- Had the fewest depressive episodes of any year since they first started occurring. I'd call that a win.
- Applied to grad school for the first time. I obviously didn't get in.
- Graduated from undergrad, with a higher standing than I uad anticipated.
- Hung out with old friends several times this year.
- Went to Michigan several times to visit my older brother, mostly just with my parents, though one occasion my twin sister got to come along.
- Holidays were all decent, with only a little drama.
- Brother-in-law broke his leg playing hockey. *sigh*
- Got a new car! With working heating! ^-^
- Asked a girl out for the first time in over a year. Got rejected.
- Got hit on by one of my twin sister's old friends while at work one day. Didn't realize it until all of my co-workers pointed it out and razzed me over it.
- One year of Trump down! Annnnnnnd three to go, assuming he doesn't get impeached...
- Lots of schools interested in me this second go around for grad apps. Wayne State, Temple, Brandeis, Harvard (didn't apply there, though. Too little too late).
Over all, not too bad, really. I'd give it a 7/10.

Like every year, its been a roller coaster.

>along with my job as an officer, I has other side jobs, like construction, I was a delivery driver, I worked a warehouse job and I got a licence to operate and manage heavy lifting utility, like cranes and shit.

>there was a tornado that ripped through my town, and I helped repair destroyed homes.

>I created Providence, as well as assigned volunteer staff and IT workers to code and help me keep the network up for free.

>I was almost a victim of police brutality, but I flashed him my badge and he stopped his shit. But he did manage to bust my nose on the hood of his car and wrongly slap cuffs on me without reading my rights or placing me under arrest, which is a big no-no and I ended up taking his job my the end of it. Fuck you Officer Bird.

>I got back together with my ex fiance. It was a mistake and we broke up again.

>I reconnected with a lot of my mates from my hometown, and we visit regularly now, and they're thrilled that I'm back in town! Just like old times.

>My Canadian brother came visit me, drove four hour to see me and spent about a week at my house, and all we did was drink.

>My friend had a baby! and I was there to see it happen. It was fucking intense. One of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

>I was almost a Father for the second time, but she had a miscarriage and lost the baby. This sent me into a depression for a time.

>I went out to Vagas with my friend to participate in Evo. I did alright, but ended up getting fucking destroyed. Super Smash Bros.

>I found out that my Mother has cancer, again.

Yeah, I did. but, this is the last time I'm going to mention it, because I will tell you that what took place there will never be spoken of, and I'm happy as fuck that I was able to avoid what was A B O U T to take place.

But a friend hooked me up and now I pretty my owe him for the rest of my life. So. Don't ever speak of that, because I'm still getting shit for it from a select number of you salty civilians.

Guess I'll contribute to this, though my year was pretty boring. Not in chronological order

* Made a bunch of friends, lost them after breaking my trust lmao

* Finally left school

* Went to college

* Dropped out of College, rip

* Actually went to holidAY for the first time since I was a child

* Realised how shitty my uncle and auntie are

* Kinda got traumatised?

* Completed the goal of making a stupid anime quote my year book quote


* Got more into photography

* Made my ocs extra gay

Yup my year was boring

Nothing. Like every other year. I haven't done anything productive.

-Got a new job like every other year
-Actually started drawing/writing my comic
-Left my religion thus breaking a promise with a close friend there.
- All my religious friends have to shun me now or else they get in trouble too.
-Used a dating app for the first time.
-Ended up talking to girl there for a whole month or two before deciding it wasn't going anywhere.
-Made a new friend at my new Job.
-Came back to the dollars (Maybe this was a mistake?)
-Started watching youtube peoples reviews and theories on my favorite manga.
-Started reading more webcomics
-Went to my first anime convention
-Stopped watching most anime, but I still read manga (mainly Shonen Jump titles).
-accepted myself, as in no longer as anxious and insecure as I used to be
