19 Name: Kokoro!vDQhWY7uP2 : 2016-06-10 05:58 ID:ZjYLg/Ic [Del]

When I inserted my name into one of these 'convert your name into a japanese one' like five years ago or so I remember getting the name "Yamashita Michiyo". Yamashita apparently means 'under the mountain' and Michiyo 'three thousand generations'. Both meanings aren't even near to my real name, but well, I didn't expect anything else.

If I had to literally translate my name it'd be something along Ando Yasuko. (That... kinda sounds like an old name.) My last name comes from a... let's call it an antique tradition, where receiving it means you're of higher status, so I chose Ando since it's the name of an old and powerful clan. As for Yasuko, it's the only female name that has a kanji that signifies 'to protect' in it. (The meaning 'to protect' seems to be common in male names tho.)

Other than that, I still have my nickname 'Kokoro'. That's good as it is =3=

20 Name: Kaisuke : 2016-06-11 10:12 ID:+Ow8Gi6J [Del]

I used what >>7 used it came up with -
安西 Anzai (peaceful west) 紅野 Kureno (crimson plains)

千羽 Chiba (thousand feathers) 一真 Kazuma (one reality)

21 Name: Enigami : 2016-06-11 13:53 ID:c3/9yR0O [Del]

>>20 I liked this method better than my previous post, so I'll try it, myself.
With my last name first and first name last:
坂本 Sakamoto (book of the hill) 溌春 Hatsuharu (vigorous spring time)
With my first name first and last name last:
千羽 Chiba (thousand feathers) 真一 Shinichi (one truth)

22 Name: Kaisuke : 2016-06-11 16:30 ID:rJzJC/IQ [Del]

>>21 I have tried Google translate but didn't like what it came up with in Japanese as it was more or less my real name just more like how a Japanese person would likely pronounce my name :/

think what >>7 posted is some kind of random name generator, but I like it.
