There's a lot to say, so I'll go through it.
>>7 I agree, the Forer effect is definitely an issue when these sort of topics are at hand, but to be honest, the big text block (one is listed in
>>6) is a load of crap. -dere stereotypes are simply a way to generalize natural tendencies. The sterotypes are far to general for some big fortune-like text block to do any more than attribute to the Forer effect.
>>8 In this context, yandere doesn't need to mean totally insane. Yanderes are generally the more clingy and protective type. That's not to say whether you fit there or not. I empathize with your previous experience with personality exams. They are truly bad at considering specifics and should really not go further than simple entertainment.
>>11 I would usually agree, but we are talking about -dere personality generalizations. For one, lumping people into a finite groups is very nearly impossible. On the other end of the spectrum, I was curious, so I answered the questions with answers from how I felt a year, two years ago, etc and I had a pretty hard time getting a different answer without considering unusual situations. Still, just have fun with it. Throw some different answers in. It's fun to consider what a quiz assumes of you from a few questions.
To all, don't take anything from this quiz very seriously. It is just a fun activity. No matter how accurate a personality quiz could be, it could never be perfect, so use your own careful judgement to evaluate your answer. You know yourself better than an 8 question quiz.
