one of my favorits is about a street in my city. the street is called "almonit" which basically translates to "Nameless ally"
Now,it's located right at the center of everything, you'd think it'll be a supr expansive popular place, but I don't think anyone lives there (went there to see what it looks like, and entering that ally basically feels completly diffrent than any other place in Tel-Aviv. Empty and strangely quiet with narrow passages between biulding and overgrown gardens. People wrote poems of love to the city in the outer walls. strange and amasing. I kinda get where this legend comes from.)
So they say that there's this homeless guy sitting on the street corner. They say he looks a bit old (40+ man) but very nice. He dosn't ask you for money, but he will start a conversation. He will ask for your name when you talk to him, and you won't notice anything wrong. He will ask you how old you are, where you are from, where you live and all sorts of other stuff, and you won't notice anything is wrong 'til the next time you meet a person who'll ask you your name, or how old you are, or where you are from - because you won't know. You would become "nameless", losing enything you shard with that homeless guy.

In general, most people don't seem to care about urbal legends, since it's 'unscientific' or something along those lines. That doesn't stop others from caring though.
