First off I know people are saying this is a duplicate thread, but this topic isn't meant for Main and the thread in Personal is probably for a specific case, so I believe this thread has reason to be on Random.
Secondly there is no such thing as love at first sight. It's lust at first sight and if people say "well no. I fell in love with them when I first saw them and we're happily married now" That statement is an impossibility. Let me tell you what really happened, you saw them and thought "they're beautiful/ hot" which is lust and walked over and chatted, your personalities messed well and you started dating and eventually got married. The moment your lust turned to love was either as you dated or during that first conversation, but that's love at first conversation, not love at first sight. Even though seeing the person and talking to them are moments apart they are technically two different activities which makes love at first sight impossible. You can never love someone solely on looks, that's called lust.

Hmm, yes and no. I think you can fall in love with an idea of someone and if you meet someone who matches that could be love at first sight. In example you really love people who are sporty and have cats. You sees someone playing a sport and wearing a cat t-shirt so you already know things about them that you love without even starting a conversation with them. But you can't really know someone until you talk to them and I don't think you can fully love someone until you fully know them.
