Ohayo! I'm sure many of you have clicked on the Chatroom at the top, which redirected you to the site drrrchat. I just wanted to have somewhere to ask questions about it, as I have a few in my mind. This could be a mini FAQ. But yeah, so if know the answer, or know of a similar thread (I couldn't find one) then please post a reply. Thanks!

Q1: In the anime, there is a function in the chat which allows you to go into private mode. Is there such a function in drrrchat, and if so then how do you do it?

Q2: When you enter a room, I'm sure you've noticed the three (or four if your host) buttons above the chat box. The first mutes sound, the second displays who's in the room, but what does the third button do? (The one which looks like a speech bubble)
I've been trying to figure it out but it doesn't seem to do anything. Any reply will help, thanks!

Questions like this would generally go in the FAQ on main.

Except the FAQ on main, and most of our members, will point out that this chat doesn't belong to us - And thus we really can't answer questions regarding it, how it works, its moderations, or bugs that occur there in.

You hit the nail on the head with "redirected" - That chat is in no way affiliated with BBS. It's a public chat that directed people to made by the guy who initially created the chat format, Suin.

He did this because when we hosted our own chats, some idiots were messing with some things and bogging down the chats until they crashed. In the end, he figured it'd just be simpler to leave all the traffic heading towards the creator and let him deal with it.

As a result, almost unanimously, the BBS forum members have a stance of disowning the chat and denying any type of relation to it or offering help regarding it - Because its existence is, literally, a result of it not being our problem.
