Christmas is a wonderful holiday for me because of how charming it comes out. Yes, I know that the origin of Christmas is suppose to be that of a religious theme concentrating on the birth of Christ, but I believe there's more to it than just that. You hear magical stories about Santa Clause, toys, fairies, and I think it's just a time in which all of us just want to be happy and forget the harsh realities of the world for that one time of year. I think Christmas, as materialistic as modern day society makes it out to be, makes us want to be children who believe in all good things and wish the best for the world.

And now for my Christmas wish list:
Pokemon Black/White 2 (game)
Naruto: The Will of Fire (movie)
Deadman Wonderland (series DVD)
Hot Topic Gift Card
Money
Tickets to Anime Expo 2013 (that might go back to Money seeing as that's what I need to get them)

OP makes me want to gauge my eyeballs out with a knife.

Christmas time for me is a time of year for being optimistic and relaxing with family. I wasn't raised particularly Christian, so this time of year is really just an enjoyable break from the business of school and a time to have fun.

My wish list this year just consists of a few CDs and some extra money to get a new guitar. Already got about 70% of what I need.

pffft, Christmas. The only real December holiday is Alchemists Christmas. Supersedes regular Christmas actually.

11 Name: Sid : 2012-12-02 22:20 ID:5lVfwx5Q [Del]

This will be a little different than what everyone else said but here goes.

I view christmas as a blown out of proportion shopping spree, at least that is what society made it. All the corporations make one think presents are always needed and people need to buy stuff for their family and/or loved ones.

How I would want christmas to be is just being with your family, or loved ones, with no problems. I think people should be more forgiving around the holidays to everyone as well. People should focus more on being able to have a good time with their family, not what presents to get.

12 Name: sleepology !CHs4eVJ3O2 : 2012-12-03 01:32 ID:cDf8/Ul5 [Del]

>>11 oh im sure a lot of people think that it is, but they enjoy the getting free stuff idea a bit too much to ignore the holiday. That and seeing family, because if there wasnt this holiday, we would never see our relatives again, in some cases.

13 Name: BarabiSama!!C8QPa1Mt : 2012-12-03 09:28 ID:19iCKVBQ [Del]

Christmas is Christmas. I'm not religious, so I have no fucks to give for Jesus's birth/death/reincarnation/whatever that we're celebrating. Christmas is fun because you get away from school and can make/buy presents for all your friends.

Meeting with family sucks, but I guess that's a part of the holiday. Both sides of my family are screwy in the head; Christmas turns into a dramabomb every year, so... yeah.

14 Name: Kay : 2012-12-03 09:39 ID:iaApWcFm [Del]

Despite the fact that Christmas is an overly commercialized pagan tree worship holiday stolen by Christians, it is still very important to me. Of course, my opinion might be a little biased...

I am Santa, after all. :l

15 Name: Tsuki : 2012-12-03 10:06 ID:cnk0f1St [Del]

Don't actually give a fuck about Christmas. You can all shove your presents and family meetings and awkward gatherings up your ass.

I don't care about presents because I buy my own goddamn things, I don't need people giving me things that I didn't even want in the first place.

I also don't need some half-arsed excuse as to visit family. I visit then because I actually want to spend time with them. I don't need a bullshit excuse to do this.

Basically, Christmas is the time of assholes and fucktards and everyone can go and flay themselves with turkey trimmers.

21 Name: MKOLLER !YYk5m0jo12 : 2012-12-04 05:37 ID:6WOGtQHh [Del]

I would like to find a better job by Christmas. Also, planning on asking for a catsuit for Christmas.

Also, since I'm not a Christian, I celebrate Christmas on a more superficial level.

22 Name: Celestial Envoy !0UZD1OR/j. : 2012-12-04 06:26 ID:DosRMhFx [Del]

Im not Christian ether; it just gives my family and excuse to celebrate for a day XD. Ain't nothing wrong with that though, getting drunk and celebrating with the family is never a wrong way to go! And I will be home to celebrate Christmas! It's been a year and 4 months since I last saw anyone from my family so im looking forward to it!

23 Name: Ichi : 2012-12-04 09:28 ID:Cql8lCdu [Del]

I am Christian so it's important in that aspect. However I do love that it's a day I celebrate with my family. While I'm not doing anything special for it this is kind of more sentimental since this will probably be my last one at home as I'm preparing for the military. xD

And i don't believe that Christmas is for just christian people. Because it's a wonderfull day.
and if i'm counting right itäs suppose to be 20 and 19 days left. It's different day in different countries, but for me it's 18 days, 22 hours, 43 minutes och 00 sec..

I will be spending Christmas overseas, at a camp I was forced off to, and in a country which I vowed that I'd never go to voluntarily. Hopefully, I'll at least get a Christmas present or something to cheer me up, but for now, leave me to be a sadcase... *hopes that it'll snow or something*

You have a unique tripcode, you'll stand out fine.
Also, speaking of grammar:
*to*, and a run on sentence with no commas.

Just because he's got a similar name doesn't mean you have to dislike him, but whatever.

hmmm i don't think christmas is special at all. pretty much just a time to get off of work and chill with family. I like the idea of presents but not super expensive hundreds of dollars per person things, and i guess it's nice that people are usually nicer around this time of year. BTW i'm not christian but i still give gifts.
