Okay, so. I'm really oblivious to this kind of thing...but, has there always been an advertisement under the QR Code and thread buttons? If it has always been there, are you against it? Sure, it makes the site money, but still. Just wondering.

No, it seems it has just been added. However, I don't see it on all boards. I've found them in like half of them, or something.

As to whether I'm against it or not, I could care less. Is there any harm to it?

Yea, if there's an ad there so what. It doesn't annoy you at all, it's not one of the ones that starts spouting spanish at you when you go to another tab, if you ignore it it'll ignore you.
