If the spectrum of discussion is made to be wider, then more conversation and interaction will occur on the thread. We want this because it keeps the BBS organized - if we had a thread for each individual disorder then things would get hectic and cluttered. We hate it when that happens.
As for the Personal board, I also suggest this be moved there. Not because of the discussion that you're looking for, but because of the topic at hand. Disorders are a personal issue, not a random one. And a thread about disorders is a place where discussion ABOUT them will likely also take place. Thus, the thread would belong in Personal.
That said, Random is a good second guess, so props for not doing the douchebag thing by putting this on Main or in some weird other place.
(Also, people seem to be more comfortable discussing these topics in Personal, as opposed to other boards. It's already an accepted place to talk about things like this, and everyone agrees on that.)
