DollarsBBS Mods (12)

Hello, I've noticed some of the older members and people who talk like mods on occasion have some writing similar to the ID tags we all have but in white and right next to the name. Now I know in the FAQ page it says we don't know if there are mods or admins but I was wondering are these people mods or were here from the start? If you have one of these next to your name then please explain it, if you are simply putting it there or if you are a Mod or something similar, thank you. An example can be found: http://dollars-bbs.org/main/res/1325639041.html

Next to the first and second posters names.

That is a tripcode. It is like a password and you don't have to be a mod to have one. Just put an exclamation point next to your name(!) and a desired password.

Just dont use something like password... You can test it in the test board.

What was the point of this thread.
Reltair chooses mods on his own, people with tripcodes(thats what they are called, you would know that if you read the faq/help page properly) are not mods. Mods work on a completely different level then everyone else, and possibly dont even take part in this site aside from using their mod powers to clean up clutter.
Also, what kind of mod reveals their secret identity.
Lurk/read more.

...Being Ayanavi is suffering.

Get a tripcode, it's not that hard.
It's almost completely irrelevant, however, die to the fact that the only time it's come in handy was back when that person was impersonating everyone.

OP's already been answered by other posts, ext.

The day Navi gets a tripcode is the day something has gone horribly wrong.

I have a tripcode. I've used it before.

I only tend to use it when the faggotry of a thread has become irredeemable.

>>4 I did read that part actually but thanks everyone for answering. I didn't know what it meant entirely so I asked, I also re-read it a couple of times and still didn't understand. Also please note I put this in random, and please be greatful I didn't put this on main and I atleast have a little common sense.

Don't congratulate yourself so much, but yes, thank you for some common sense. A tripcode is relatively the same thing as a pasword. Example: putting "ShadowSnake141!PASSWORDGOESHERE" would generate a tripcode next to your name. Try it out on the test board, right beneath random.
