2 Name: Doremo : 2012-08-27 22:14 ID:8dW1kUlg [Del]

3 Name: Xissx !6bey4Qz3DY : 2012-08-27 23:10 ID:unTcXOa+ [Del]

I don't believe in him, but I like o scare myself by listening to his stories and the slender man song on youtube. Honestly, I would rather go up against Jeff the Killer then slender man! Atleast with Jeff I have chance! XD

I used to believe in him, i was terrified, but one of my friends gave me proven facts on how and why he wasn't real. The games he is in are really creepy but fun to play :D

8 Name: Elunore!HIwambGeWE : 2012-08-28 14:50 ID:lohQgwPG [Del]

I'm terrified of him as a mythical(sort of) creature, but the games don't scare me at all. Marble Hornets on the other hand...

9 Name: Rio : 2012-08-28 17:03 ID:M2OR7PX0 [Del]

I don't believe it until i go to bed and slowly open my eyes to look at the dark empty corner of my room *shivers*

There are tons of sightings, old pictures, tapes, and disappearances linked with slenderman. I think he's real. Honestly I thought it was just a meme at first but then I watched this video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysgQ9spsphk. I'm into paranormal things so I'm not looking for anyone to believe me, because not many people will.

>>10 Youre making it really hard to believe that you arent looking for someone to believe you.

12 Name: Veneziano : 2012-09-09 15:12 ID:2y88tI1C [Del]

>>11 I'm providing evidence to support my claim to make you understand why I believe what I do. I honestly could care less if you believe me.

13 Name: Keisen : 2012-09-09 15:21 ID:zPiHsObj [Del]

>>10 He's just a creepypasta character. All those "sightings" and "old pictures" are photoshopped, the "tapes" are distorted not because Slenderman screws up electronics, but because it gives an excuse to only show Slenderman for a few seconds at a time, not giving the viewer enough time to notice that it's some guy in a costume. The "disappearances" are made up. It's a game to the people who make such things, and their goal is to give you nightmares. The "documentary" you watched was just more nightmare fuel, and the "police recording" was a promo for a fake Slenderman movie. It's all just creepypasta. Next you'll tell me you believe in Jeff the Killer.

"Slender Man" Is not real. It was created for the sake of a contest on SomethingAwfulForums. However, many cultures (mostly historical) have urban legends or myths about a tall creature or living trees (and even "giant spiders that lived in the water") that would mainly abduct children or young adults, with their bodies never being found, or killing anyone who wandered into the creature's territory. It's likely that "Slender Man" was lergely based off these myths and urban legends.

Ok,
1) There's no way he'd of known that, it would be impossible for him to "get his facts straight"
2) You can easily solve this issue by using a proxy. It's become easier than ever to use one now, and there's no excuse not to use one to avoid people thinking you're a samefag.

The whole slenderman fad came back up to surface a few years ago with the production of the Marble Hornets tapes (which I still watch, but I was unaware anyone actually thought they were real) and the even newer production of the indie game "Slender" which copies a lot of concepts and locations from the Marble Hornet series. For example: The recording going fuzzy during slendy's presence, the tunnel, the general layout of the woods and trails, the idea that you have to see him to force him into our reality which slows him to an observable pace, and even more were directly taken from Marble Hornets.

The series went downhill a few months ago, but it looks like it's starting to pick up again, what's really entertaining is the totheark vids that go with MH, but that's the key. It's entertainment, nothin' else.

The slender man is obviously not real, people who claim to seen him or having any sort of relation with him were crazy or just putting up rumours. But we could say that the slender man exist in some kind of way, like he could the ''vessel'' of our own fear or other strange phenomena that we wouldn't be able to explain with science. This strange tall man would therefore our head...
