Not sure if this thread exists yet, I've looked. Anyway, this is about the most hated, annoying, overdone, or just plain inappropriate Internet Memes that you can think of.

Mine is the "Rick Rolled"
While it is funny when you click on videos that "Seem to Good to be True" such as how to make a million dollars, or if you look for porn on youtube, because it should sound like bullshit to begin with. The problem with it is when I'm looking for something legit, and the only thing that pops up are the rick rolls. Ex:
How do I maintain a proper garden: result:Rick Rolled
A clip from family guy that I thought was funny: Result: Rick Rolled.

It's annoying because you get the sense that the person thinks he's "fooling" you and he thinks he's so smart, when really, their just hindering your search.

Try all memes, OP.

Eventually they spread, and become so cancerously overused that everyone hates them. It is only in the months that follow that the meme dies out, and people move on. This is the cycle. It happens every time, without fail.

The only exceptions are when some people don't know when to drop it, and continue to use it even after the months that it's died off.
