I thought this was just a fake religion from Naruto. And then I hear it's real and then I hear it's not actually real. I'm getting mixed answers.

Now, if you claim it to be a real religion, then how did you get discover it? See it on Naruto, research and decide it's actually believable? Or was it around before Naruto?

Kind of a weird thread in general in my opinion. Imagine someone making a, "Anyone a Muslim here?" thread. Dunno. Just seems like ..... dunno. There is already a religion.

Sorry didnt know there was a religion thread, and yes it has been out longer then naruto cuz im 16 and i have been a follower ever sense i was 4 when i saw it on naruto i was a little mad. The religon almost died off about 1800 years ago and the maker of naruto wanted to bring it back to life so people knew about it

I read up a bit on it, and Damn, does this sound a bit messed up. I mean, If you can't convert someone, they are considered an infidel, and must be killed. Also, if you should get into a fight with someone, It has to be to the death? And once you have killed them, you drink there blood. I mean, that sounds fucked up.

I don't know, but it doesn't sound that tolerant of a religion.

You're not allowed to kill unless you kill yourself. You have to understand and have experienced whatever kind of pain you inflict on someone before you do it.
I'm just gonna relate this to Naruto one more time as an example. Hidan is immortal, so he stab himself in the heart and live through it. And since he has experienced that pain himself he's allowed to inflict it others.

Oh yeah, it's all pretty horrid. I guess I just have warped interests. Although I don't support inflicting pain on anyone without a very good reason...

Jashin was the god of the Akatsuki member, Hadin (I think that was his name), in the anime/manga Naruto Shippuden. His worship granted him immortality so long as he resided in a complex blood-circle made from the wounds of his victims.
