I haven't really checked to see if there was already a thread like this but I was wondering that since it's the anniversary of my uncle, cousin and sisters death day. I thought it would be great to put up a thread where anyone who has lost a loved one, whether it happened yesterday, today or any other day, they could tell the loved one what they wanted to say but couldn't say on here.

Well, it's been a week and a day since my grandma died. Just want to say, grandma, I love you. I'm glad you don't have to deal with all your children fighting, now. Rest in peace. You sure do deserve it.

This boy in my roommates' English class passed away two days ago. He was standing on the side of the street when a car came by and hit a tree. The car spun out of control and the boy died almost instantly.

I don't know who this boy is but condolences to his family.

I don't have anybody in particular to be directing this towards...

I take my hat off to all of the lost souls out there. I'm glad they all existed, untimely death or not. They shaped this world into what we see before us today, and I don't think we can thank any of them enough for that.

I wanted to thank the one person who showed me compassion. Who showed me pity in the most trying of times. A thank you to my boss, who died earlier this week of heart attack. He touched the lives of many people, giving chances to the hopeless and downtrodden.

Thanks Boss-Man, you gave me a future when no one else even bothered.

When I was little, there was a girl about a mile from my grandmother's house that went missing out of her drive way while roller skating with her sister. Her body was found in the woods just off of a four lane highway. It was a big thing at our house because (unlike most kids, even then)we all played outside a lot. Not even two months after her body was discovered, my grandfather was hit by a semi when the driver fell asleep. He was hit not more than a mile from where the little girls' body was found.
I was too young to really understand what happened, mostly because it was such a sudden thing. My mother explained to me with "That little girl needed a grandpa, and god thought there was no one better than 'papa', so he took him so that she would have a 'papa' too." I had apparently replied with "Well, we had him for a long time, so it's okay if he goes with her. She needs him more than us." If I could say anything to my grandpa, I would tell him that I hope he found and took care of that little girl, and that if he did, she got the best grandpa in the whole world.
Rest in Peace, PaPa Dean. I wish you were here still, and Grandma misses you.
