Anime world xP but it depends what anime. If it was something like dragon ball z, then I wouldn't want to be in it unless I was friends with goku because most of the fighting is on planet namek and you'd just be a random person on earth but if it was something like black butler then yes^^

Like Mael said, I was going to hop on here and say "reality" and call this stupid, but...
I gotta be honest, I think being in an anime would be interesting. I wouldn't want to be in a realistic anime or magical girl type thing, though. I would want to live in an anime that's on a fake world that isn't threatened by being blown up. Of the hundreds of animes I've watched, I'm sure at least one of them fits this description :T I will search through and find an example eventually lol

Honestly, any game or anime world that isn't outright dangeous to everything would be great. Like ya'know, DBZ where everything dies or gets blown up at several points; or anything where only a select few are superpowered and try to destroy the public, because lets face it, if we ended up there, we would not be so privileged.
Reality is not only boring, but everything goes wrong at once and bad luck latches to you like a disease. In an anime world if it were to stay true to the anime, wouldn't be as unpredictable or have as many things out of your control involving your life.
So yeah, I'd have to pick an anime world. Especially with the way 2012 is going for me. (Though I'd much rather pick a game world for the simple fact they are usually more beautiful and easier to adapt to for the sake of gameplay).

I'm caught on both, I mean, living in an anime universe depends on what anime you've picked, the dangers, etc. And then there's reality, which you can find the best or the worst in. I guess I'll pick the anime universe..cause, well, I really would love to meet Sasuke Uchiha and beat the crap out of him. Not implying Mary Sueish nature.

So maybe it is cliche, but I tend to agree with Walker and Erika from Durarara on this one. If you elevate fiction to be as important as reality, you can substitute any reality you don't want with that one. However, eventually your reality will catch up with you. So I guess in short: if you need to get away from it all "renting a room" in the anime world is nice for a while. But you can only live your own life. Ya know?

If you find reality boring or too rough to handle, you could always momentarily escape to the anime-verse, i think a lot of us are like this.

I've always wondered how I'd do in different realities. Assuming I get super powers upon entering, I'd be the happiest dude ever.
