Has anyone else had student teachers? Did you like them or hate them?
I had one once. Then I flipped out in class and ended up yelling at him later. He disappeared after that. Then he failed his student teaching class.

(PS-looked for a thread on this, couldn't find one)

We have student teachers constantly. Almost every class usually has one for at least a few weeks throughout the year. I think my district is considered good for practice, but my district is shit. It's sad to think they'll turn out to be like our teachers -o- I wish there were better examples for them.

I've yet to have a student teacher I didn't like, to be honest. They're usually pretty cool.

My high school band director was the student teacher in my middle school.

It was awesome.

My student teacher was pretty cool but got discouraged because my class was filled with losers and underachievers

I don't remember the name of my AVID class's student teacher. He was the son of my teacher so he would get to spend some time with his mom and learn something at the same time. He was really sweet for helping her out. Then he got a full time job and couldn't come to help us out anymore, which is funny because right after he left my entire class had no idea what to do in math tutorial sessions anymore ;_; I miss him

im having a student teacher now..

I had two cool student teachers. One in my chemistry class two years ago and the other in my american government class last trimester.

i have one right now in contemp and entrepreneurship. he tends to talk and talk and talk, giving super long explenations and stuff. and he's always forgeting what his point is.

I have one in Spanish right now and he's doing fantastic, I'm actually understanding the language better and passing thanks to him.
