I'm so tired of going on video chats only to berated and people look at me like something's wrong with me only to be called ugly. I just want to have fun but most people just want to insult me and leave. I don't even want to talk to anyone anymore.

Am i wrong or you are diving into Omegle..? If that's so, you are definetly on the wrong place. If you are looking to meet nice people you should not try those kind of sites.......

Agree with Anon. If going on video chats is causing you so much distress, Darkside, you need to cut them out of your life as quickly as possible. Especially on sites like Omegle, people on those sites are just shitty or trolls more often than not. Maybe consider taking a break from social media/the internet in general for a while, maybe pick up another hobby or something else you enjoy. Things like what you're describing can really take a toll on one's mental health, even if it isn't something you necessarily realize when you're right in the thick of it, and potentially meeting someone nice online just isn't worth that. I already did and I need to just give those sites up completely. I got a therapist now and I'm trying to focus on school
