Okay. So a few years ago I met this friend. We hit it off and became best friends becoming super close. Well around a month ago I learned she was suicidal. I helped her through it I thought and she promised me that she wouldn't kill herself and I was satisfied.

However a week later my legal guardian took my phone for no reason for three weeks and Eve (we'll call her eve) thought I had forgotten about her and killed herself. Now some explanation on this is we met on discord and she was taken away from all social media and the only way we could talk was on Genshin impact which is fine by me at least I got to talk to her.

My aunt taking my phone meant I couldn't talk to her because I had no way to get on Genshin impact. So I learned she had died and cried for days and I was doing better until today. I finally got the nerve to get back on Genshin impact a couple weeks after I heard the news and I see that she was active today. Now I don't know what to think. Did she fake it? I thought at first it could be one of her friends or family members but I don't see any reason why they would get on that app weeks after she died! Now I can't even think straight so I came here for some advice on what to do

I think she did faked it, she might've been sad that you were offline as you were talking always.

The only real way to find out is by confronting her. talk to her or whoever is active on the app and find out what really happened. Yes, maybe she faked it so talk to her about it and see what she has to say.
