I just hate myself for overthinking abt my future. Every night i get nervous abt what wil happen in my life. Im gonna be a college student next year (yeahh time flies) and i havent decide what im gonna take :(. Also, im not ready to leave my house and i will miss my family. And i dunno if somebody will get along with me in my college life. What if ill get fcked up or smthin.

Aughhh i just want to live and finish my education but realizing that ill be a college student is scary for me. Its just im not ready yet :(

As somebody who is about to graduate college in a few months, I completely understand being scared. I'm also pretty scared about being done with college.
It's really hard to decide what to do with your life, especially at a young age (why they have us decide such important things before our brains are even fully developed, I have no idea). There can also be a lot of doubt involved, which I'm personally experiencing about my major. But the thing is, very few people actually have it all figured out. The older I get, the more I realize that so many people are just winging it. Don't get too caught up on what you are going for. I think as long as you can pick a general subject that you have interest in and would like to work in, you can narrow it down as your education furthers. Or even leave it general!
As for actual college life, don't stress too much. I'm so socially inept and I still found people my first semester that I'm still friends with now. And as scary as living away from family can be, once you go into it, it's honestly so freeing. I firmly believe me going away for college rather than staying at home and doing community college helped me grow a TON as a person. Of course I miss my family, but I try to keep in touch with them.

Overthinking the future is normal. I do it all the time. But your thoughts are just thoughts and real life can often exceed your expectations. It's difficult, but try not to worry so muvh. You've got this!! Good luck!

Yup, college is definitely better than what's until high school

You can get to know students with the same interests, mostly by going to clubs, or to parties, depending on what you like.
And then, you have the liberty to hang out with them, if you move to a dorm and your parents aren't there.

You can also let go on some points, people are much more open minded.

Just stay friendly to people, since it can get more difficult to study if you're on your own.

And if you're not decided on what to do, you can still try something.

College is scary, I started college just last year or this year, well its my second semester in college, anyways some of us are never ready for college but what really makes us not have a problem with that is what comes after college, being free from studies and finals. Life after college is something to look forward to without the thinking about it part, just live life to the fullest and it will be full of surprises :D. My parents are my everything hence the reason why I am going to just dorm two years so i can experience dorming and be able to check out all the cool activities and sports offered.

Don't get too stressed out about being undeclared at the moment, you will eventually find out what you will find enjoyable and happy and then succeed in it. Just make sure when you choose one to know it is something that you will truly want have faith in yourself that you will indeed eventually find what you are looking for. And as for the friends part, I did not have any in high school and I wouldn't be surprised if i didn't get any in college as well but you will find a group of friends in the classes you will eventually get with them, everyone seems to be nice so just be yourself and you will be surrounded by the people who want to help you succeed in the college life.

I am sorry if this was too much, haha hope it helps in a way :D enjoy your day. and stay safe !
