Doing College Applications in Middle School (5)

1 Name: Undecided : 2021-01-13 18:59 ID:yV2MqPNw [Del]

For some reason, my dad is making me and my sister do college applications even though we're only in middle school and don't have club experience or SAT scores. I don't need any help, just wanted to get it out since talking about things helps me a bit. It's probably gonna be a pain so wish me luck.

Good for you, it's going to pay off later. Good luck to you too.

This is a huge waste of time (and money, since some college applications do have a fee). Colleges just aren't gonna be impressed by a middle schooler applying (unless you're some kind of progidy child).
I guess at least you'll be familiar with how the applications work? But man, sure is weird that he is making y'all do that.

Well I hope it does pay off. I took a good 3 hours to make some essays then had to revise one of them which took 2 hours. I still have to revise the other two. Btw, I am applying to Stanford and Columbus University at the same time. Anyway, thanks for the replies.

Oh also EpicKeith, what was even worse than this, at least I think, was when he had me and my sister do an algebra 1 textbook with like 120 lessons and 30 problems per lesson in one summer and then an algebra 2 book during my first semester, an advanced mathematics book during the rest of the first semester and in the second semester, and then a calculus book which I finished a couple months ago. Sad part is I forgot most of the concepts in the calculus one.
