Well, they don't. I feel like there is a specific context to this question, but bad poeple don't always get away with it. Sometimes good poeple need to fight in order to not let them get away and that requires motivation and hope, but don't loose hope because something bad happened to you. Well, you can’t just chalk down actions to “the good guy” and the “bad guy.” Unfortunately life isn’t that black and white. Everyone does stuff because of something, weather they feel they themselves are justified or something that has happened in their past is now affecting them, in the end it really just matters what side your on and that side is usually “the good guys” to you. In the end it’s up to you
I think it depends on the case. Sometimes it's just luck, and sometimes it's that some people are just very good at crafting a façade that makes others think they can do no good. Sometimes is even both. And sometimes is neither, people are complex and it's easy to judge someone as "bad" without really knowing where they're coming from and why they act the way they do (or whether they act like that all the time or you just happened to catch them on a bad day).
