I just learned that there are parts of the thighs that are easier to wound and some parts that are harder to wound. On the same note, the inner part of the thighs are easy to bruise.

This is coming from self-experience of someone who recently attempted to stab (well not really stabbed because it didn't go through my thighs) her thighs with a pen, and just attempted to slice her thighs with scissors :D
