Psychology of drunk kisses (6)

This is my third year at University and there is a guy I've been fangirling over ever since my first year... We talk quite a lot now, even planned a concert last spring before the lockdown happened but barely interracted in person because we're both very busy.
So
At the beginning of september there was a huge party at university (like at the beginning of each semester) and I went with a couple of friends. Met a guy there who seemed nice & went dancing with him but well he was trying to be closer than we were supposed to be. That's when I looked aside and saw HIM dancing with his circle (he's an awesome dancer by the way, that's my main reason of being a fangirl). So, a bit tipsy, I looked at him & shouted his name while being happy that he was there. He was drunk, obviously, but he did the same & hugged me and lifted me up in the air. Let me repeat: we mostly talked on social media before, barely in person. After he put me down, the boy I met there grabbed my arm and tried to drag me away - like, kinda forcefully. I hugged the other boy, saying I'm not gonna leave, and he kissed me to signal the other forceful guy to back off. At least I thought that was the reason, but he attempted to kiss me even after he was gone. We spent the party together after that 'till 3-4 in the morning.
So, for the past few weeks, I've been thinking about what drunk kisses mean.
Because when you kiss someone you've met while you were drunk, you don't necessarily find them attractive - but when you met that person before, you have a sober vision & thoughts of them, even when drunk. Or at least, that's how I am when tipsy & drunk, I could never kiss someone I know & I'm not attracted to them. But we're all different.
What do you think? Did it mean anything?

Note: due to our busy schedule I didn't really have a chance to ask him about it.

>>1 (Lilith) you probably thinking too much about it :) you know when people drink, they also get “courage” to do things they wouldn’t normally do. Tbh I do think the guy probably thinks you are indeed pretty, and attractive.
Keep speaking with him and try to meet him, once you both can meet
And then come back and tell the continuation of it! This sounds adorable

Can't Say I've figured out drunk thoughts yet, but I do believe the saying that "a drunk person's words/actions are a sober person's thoughts." It's held up so far at least. Can't tell you what to do, but I think it's worth finding out. Better to know for sure than to regret not knowing at all. You might find a good relationship out of it, or you might find out it didn't mean anything, which would prevent you from stressing about it.

Whatever you decide, good luck.

#2 & #3 you're so lovely thank you.
I can't really give any updates, we meet a lot at University but never just the two of us. He's really friendly and easy-going, I sometimes feel like he feels something, sometimes I don't know. I'm waiting for an opportunity to talk to him about it when we're alone.
Thank you for the replies
