Everything is fake or is it not? (4)

So yesterday I was talking to my friend and she suddenly brought up that she thinks everything in this world is fake, by everything i mean everything. She believes that this is all a dream and that death is something better. I know her well and shes not suicidal and she even assured me she wont commit suicide and i trust her. But the concept that reality is fake is very new to me, its a unique topic that I haven't heard anyone talk about, at least to me directly. Honestly I think shes just having an existential crisis but she just really believes that nothing is real. Like how Im not real or anyone is that shes the only one that is conscious and thinking while everyone else is fake. Its kinda concerning at times when she talks but honestly I dont know what to say to her when she rants about this. Any ideas on this topic? What do you think about it cuz i sure have rlly no idea whats going on with her. My main theory is shes just tired of a boring life and is wanting to experience something more. but idk

If this all are just a simulation / illusion /(insertrealityisfakeplaceholderhere), then the creator really did a damn good job to make it look bloody realistic. At least, from our perspective.

Yeah, perhaps she was just bored. Conspiracy theories are much more exciting than what our reality offers.

If I were you, I'd just play robot. "Congratulations, you managed to escaped the simulation." Or something, laugh it off I'd say. She probably wouldn't believe you either lol.

She may have read about solipsism, a phylosophic theory from Descartes. I think that thinking too much time about this can be emotionally stressful, or worse, harmful. Keep close to her, I'd say. She may need your help in the future.

Fake or not does it really matter? What is real? What makes it real? Each of us have our own reality which we say that is real. Truth and Lies are relative depending on how one view it, just like the picture of two people reading six or nine in upright and inverse.

What makes it real the moments you spent to be happy. Even if I grew up with a fake sister, it doesn't matter for the time I spent with them is real. It does not only apply with people, but even if this durarara chat site is near to fake/non-existent (virtual and real is different), but the time I spent with people in here is real.

Don't go always thinking "end" is an option, not all games have a save-point, restart chapter, or spare life. For if life is like that then there will be no meaning to life, the excitement risking and losing something in the spring of the moment fades. Imagine playing poker, if you can always do-over every match you will always get to win and where is the fun in that?

Risks for gains is what makes life exciting, yeah the idea of being OP sounds cool but the game called life isn't like that. being OP is not given but worked hard for, by learning from life, having wise decisions etc.

Create your own story, that people will read or listen to not because it is cool (which is difficult to obtain) but it is because people can relate with it. ISK what you are going through rn but there is always a tomorrow, though there is no guarantee that it will be better but IT MIGHT be better.
