Hello dollares! My English is terrible, sorry in advance. I have a problem, if it could be called that. I'm really shy, and act and look like a little girl, but i'm trying to be a teacher. I dislike that part of me cause it's embarrassing, but being like that, truthful, made me happy. Thoughts on this matter please.

Hi, i think i got you. I'm a woman too. Sometimes i think we use a certain defense mechanism to avoid some uncomfortable situations. I'll explain. As women we are expected to be quiet, shy, "good little girl", etc. to get validation, and that's what we were always told to do. So when you try to make things "right" you feel like behaving "good little girl", even when we are adults. It's not easy, but you really have to make up your mind on that. Being polite and not shy is a thing, you can be truthful and stand up (not be shy) for yourself and still don't feel embarrassed. I hope this helps. :)

Same here.I'm 25 but very short and petite, and look younger. I'm also very shy and have a very soft voice so I seem much younger. It never used to bother me but now that I'm getting older I worry what life will be like as I'm aging. All my life up to now, being the 'shy little girl' has never been a problem, but now I'm feeling lost as I get older. If I'm not the 'shy little girl', then who am I? :/

Hello again. It's about time we left behind that "good girl" stuff, because its our comfort zone. We were told this is the only way a woman can socialize and that's a lie. We can act polite and stand up if we don't like something, we don't have to be "good girls" all our lives, we don't need to be shy or embarrassed because that's "cute", it's all bullshit. They want us to be "good girls" so we can shut the fuck up and we won't. When you realize that you'll never be shy again. xo
