I have been a member of Dollars for more than 4 years. The chatroom was linked from the BBS. The people here back then were so good. RP and random chatrooms were respectable. People at least knew the difference between a child and a teenager and accepted members of all ages. I remember whenever I enetered any chatroom having members who were personally friends and always talked about things I didn't know, they'd at least make me feel welcomed and treated me right and I was able to fit in. Chatrooms had good hosts that would kick out any stupid or irritable person and spammers too. Everything was so friendly. I was inactive for a long time and then I came back active again in 2020 and all chatrooms had shitty people. I couldn't find any old members except a few, who were friendly as always. Just another day I entered into a random chatroom, a guy already tried sexting with me in the DMs like WTF. Three guys tried sexting in a single day. The hosts were appropriate at least. Now if you enter an RP chatroom with an irrelevant username, they'd kick you or ban you for no reason. There are weird people in the chatroom who mock you for your nationality or age and you can't go against them coz they're friends with the host and the hosts are actually pretty unfair and rude. Everything is RP. I can't find a single random chat having sane people who'd like to discuss any topic of concern. They even make jokes about COVID-19 even though they know it's killing thousands. Chatrooms that actually have good people are never ever found again. Just today I entered this chat for discussion coz it was literally named 'Debate Room'and the members there were talking about seducing and fucking a pope and getting syphilis like FML I don't get these stupid people. They make a chatroom publically for people to enter and discuss and when you do, they just ignore and when you tell them your age, they treat you like a child only coz you're 3 or 4 years younger than them. Dollars in 2016 had such a respectable environment and people who loved anime, especially Durarara discussed about it and now when you try to talk about anime, they call you a 'fucking weeb'and treat you as an extra. Damn are they illeterate? Do they even know why the chatroom was made for? Sorry for the rant but I can't even let this out anywhere, not even their own dumb chatroom coz they kick you or ban you. Dollard doesn't have an age limit. Does being a teenager make you less of a member? They call themselves great adults or hosts when they can't even name a chatroom properly and deal with it. They keep it personal and talk about personal events that you can no way relate to and still name the chatroom as something public. I seriously miss the OG Dollars and the kind people in the chatroom. It's messing me up. Dollars is one of the best site to share thoughts anonymously and I find dickheads here who don't even get its meaning and are the least respectable, comparing something like grammar and ages for fights and saying that you're 'throwing a tantrum' if you view your opinion. Do you seriously call a late teen discussing rational stuff as throwing a tantrum?!
I'm seriously done with this. It's like Dollars BBS and Chatroom are completely different things now. It's BS.

Somewhere along the way, BBS diverge from Chatroom and became a separate place. Only a handful of people visited BBS from Chatroom and vice-versa, which is why some people called BBS a dead site (its not ffs). Some BBS member didn't even bother with the Chatroom, explaining that "fucking normies uses drrr.com" or something along the line.

We need more members in app it's average dead but I like how slow it is more discussions even if it's at a snails pace XD

We would love to see more actual members of the dollars and are very friendly we are more than a chat app boards videos games missions all kinds of things for the dollars and we get thread notifications from the bbs each time someone posts :)

I was pissed so I didn't bother checking what I wrote so I didn't add paragraphs. Sorry about that. And seriously it's fucking anboying how a few people are making the Chatroom shitty and ruining Dollars. I miss those days where Anime was considered a common topic here. Seriously BBS is a lot better than those RP chatrooms filled with perverted lonely ass people who got nothing better to discuss than sext.

I hate the chatroom now. Just because the anime got old and the fandom calmed down a little, all of a sudden every OG member disappeared. It's not like there aren't any good people now but they're VERY rara. I spent the whole day yesterday online on Dollars to check out all the rooms. I got banned for no reason from two rooms immediately after I entered prolly coz my username didn't match their fucking RP tastes.

Some chatrooms were just dead while others talked mindless stuff and even going as far as to proudly declare about fucking a pope and sharing STD pics. And that's just the English chatrooms. I hope the others aren't suffering the same thing.

It's because of rude people like them that I left Dollars in 2017 coz Chatroom is the only thing that keeps you connected to Dollars and BBS is just what you can regularly or occasionally use but it doesn't start conversations.

I get it now why the OG Dollars disappeared. It's coz of flea like Debate Room members that are making the place cancerous. Chatroom should be stopped categorizing with BBS. The original thread page is respectable at least and it's name is gettung ruined by the chatroom.

What's worse you canng report anyone and the friends of the hosts will always be sure to kick you or ban you after they belittle you. Good for nothing leader wannabes. -_-

Sorry about those other places I also thought about quitting but I don't want to let the app go un checked I know a lot of good people use the app they might lurk or use it to connect here that keeps me going 😅

I kinda feel embarrassed now after reading this. Too late >.< but now that I think about it, I should have read some old threads before making this thread coz I learned that the chatrooms linked are just an extension and separate from the BBS. But welp, it was just me ranting.
