Okay so I found this guy here on Dollars in 2016 with the username "QaroTech". We became friends after roleplaying and chatted almost every day. Within a year,we became really close friends and for a loner like me, his existence was happiness to me. After spending much of my time online here with him, I saw that we had similar tastes in various topics and I never got bored with him. I learnt that his friends were here on Dollars too and he was part of a gang with them, a friendly one though. We never fought. But even if we did, we sorted everything out real soon. After a year, the inevitable happened. I fell for this sweet guy and even confessed. And guess what? He accepted! It was like my most happiest dream came true! I loved this guy soooooo baaad. And then because of school and all, we lost connection. I didn't have any contact info of him and I lost him forever. I don't see him here anymore and I'm mostly inactive too. But seriously, losing such a good friend really hit me hard. I miss him so much. It's been years since then and I'm still here because I just can't get over him. He was the best guy I ever met in my whole life. I just wish I can find him again and I know it'll be really embarrassing, considerimg the confession and all that I made as a teen.. But I don't care! Even if he doesn't accept me anymore, I'm totally willing to be by his side if it means talking to him ocassionaly like back then.
I hope I find him.

@Matto, no it's fine I can speak here. About his information,he said he lives in Germany and he should be 19 by now (if the age he told me was the truth). I feel stupid to say this but I forgot his name. He did tell it to me and I remember his initial was 'A'. He and a bunch of his friends made some group named 'HNP7' and his friends were often online here too. All I know is he always used a purple profile and always had the name 'QaroTech' while he was in the chatroom. I have no idea what he does now or where he is and I'm sorry I don't remember any other information about him coz it's been more than 3 years since I even talked to him.

I know it's hard, but I think you should let go. Letting go doesn't mean giving up hope though. Appreciating the past is a good thing, but clinging too much to it can make one forget the present. You are young, and you got more than enough time to meet a lot of new people. And maybe, when you least expect it, the guy you've been searching for answers again.

I knew I had a problem with clinging too much to past memories and was afraid of growing up and letting those precious moments go but I didn't realize it was so obvious haha..Yes,I understand and thanks for the advice. It is sad indeed but it's way too old now. Moving on is the best option and I can only hope he answers one day or finds me on Dollars again but that really depends on luck. It's fine now. I'm glad I was able to talk it out here. :)

This situation happened to me and somebody I met in a video game. We would be together a lot. Btw, I really agree with Matto. That was great advice

Im not sure if i can be much help but if he comes online again post a thread and i can use that to find him all i need is a short window and some mates of mine can try find him and we can get you to back in contact tho i would rather do this as a last resort if the guys in trouble

@Tai, if he comes online again I would personally ask him to give me some contact info so that we don't lose connection again. But the problem is I don't know if next time he'll use his regular username or a different username and I can't go on around chatrooms telling this story to see if I find someone familiar to him. I'm really helpless here. All I can do is keep my username same and wait till he finds me one day. Thank you for trying to help though. I really appreciate it. :)
