I'm a 17, turning 18 year old boy, and recently people have been complimenting me. In the past, not at all, but now I glew up. The thing is, I am usually called cute instead of handsome. I wore glasses and that might be the reason. This is because, without glasses, I honestly think I'm handsome. Yup, it's embarassing and narcissistic but that's what I think.

The question is: should I start wearing contacts?

You should check with your ophthalmologist if you decide to wear contacts. Consult your parents/guardian before you do so. Also have a payment plan ready.

Contacts are a lot of work, so Vincent's right that you have to consult about it. If you think you can handle contacts, then go ahead. I think people call you cute not because of the glasses, I think it's because you're still in your late teens. Give it a few years and I'm sure people will call you handsome even with the glasses.
